Returns & Cancellations
○ Cancellation
Please contact us within 2 hours from the purchase date/time to request cancellation. If you do not contact us within the requested time we cannot guarantee that the cancellation will go through as the moment your order is placed it is sent to our fulfillment center for processing.
Once you cancel the order, we will accordingly process the payment cancellation within 1-2 business days.
Please note that once an order is shipped it is non-refundable and no longer qualifies for cancellation.
○ Returns
Team Kyodai does not accept returns or exchanges for all art prints including digital, risographs, and screenprints. All sale items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned.
If a customer is eligible for a return they must initiate a return request within 72 hours of the confirmed local delivery time (concerns raised outside these channels may not be considered). When a customer has rated the transaction or when more the 72 hours have passed, returns are not permitted.
○ Return Eligibility
An item may be eligible for a return if it:
○ Is not as described in the listing
○ Is damaged during shipping
○ Incorrect item sent
Eligible returns must be in new, unused, or unwashed condition and in its original packaging. Any item that has been modified, altered, or changed in any way other than its original form is not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Return requests must made within 72 hours from delivery (as reflected by the carrier's time stamp).
○ Return Request
Please contact us with your order number, the items you want to return, and the reason for the return.
As part of the return process, the customer must provide the reason for the return and clear photos of: the shipping label used, the external package, packing materials, and all items included in the package. Customers must provide the requested photos and answers to all requests from Team Kyodai within 24 hours.
○ Return Evaluation
Returns must first be approved and authorized by Team Kyodai.
We evaluate the listing for the item in question as well as any information submitted by the customer when determining if a return is warranted.
We reserve the right to refuse unauthorized returns. Items returned without our authorization will be ineligible for refunds and may be sent back to the buyer.
○ Approved Returns
If a return request has been approved we will let you know the return process. You may package your return items and include a copy of your order together with the cause of return (if product is flawed).
The customer must ship the item back within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the initial return approval. An approved return will be voided and refund nullified if at least seven (7) days have passed without a tracking update.
If the item was shipped and confirmed by the designated shipping carrier but is not received by us then a refund will not be issued.
○ Return Shipping
Customer is responsible for return shipping. As we do not provide the return label, please return the parcel after you buy the shipping label and attach it. You must ship your item back using a carrier that provides a valid tracking number. Make sure to let us know the tracking number of your returning parcel or we cannot track it to verify your return.
We will not accept unpaid shipments, shipments made by Cash-on-Delivery, or any shipments other than Postal Service (i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc).
Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, we will inspect it and send you an email to notify you the status of your refund within 24 hours of delivery.
If approved your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically issued to your credit card or original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable and will not be included in your refund amount.
○ Damaged Items/Incorrect Order
If you receive an item that is damaged in transit or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours upon receipt with your order number, a picture of the item in question, and a brief explanation of the damage or wrong item and we will correct the issue from there.
Items that are damaged as result of improper usage and mishandling by the customer are not considered damaged goods.
In the event that an item arrives damaged and is proven to be, we may offer a replacement. Please note that only certain print items can be replaced. We are unable to send out a replacement for limited edition artwork (such as risographs & screenprints) as they are one of a kind.
○ Refused/Returned Shipments
If you refuse a shipment from Team Kyodai you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and any shipping fees incurred as a result of returning the package to us. You will receive a partial refund for your order amount less a $5 handling fee.
If your package has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or it was left unclaimed we may issue a partial refund or we can re-ship to the correct address once the shipping fee is paid.
○ Return Process Abuse
Abuse of the return process by a customer may result in account limitation(s) and/or legal action, as determined by Team Kyodai in its sole discretion.
